Position Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Architect Project Manager to lead and manage architectural projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of design, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring seamless collaboration between the design team, engineers, and construction teams. This role requires exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality architectural solutions that meet client expectations and comply with industry standards.
Duties
- Project Leadership : Lead architectural design projects, overseeing the planning, development, and execution of design solutions in coordination with engineering and construction teams.
- Design Management : Manage all stages of the architectural design process, including initial concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Client Engagement : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing client relationships, presenting design concepts, and ensuring client needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Scheduling : Develop and manage project schedules to ensure on-time delivery, coordinating the work of design, engineering, and construction teams.
- Budget Management : Oversee project budgets, ensuring design decisions align with financial constraints and implementing cost-effective solutions.
- Team Coordination : Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams (civil, structural, survey, and architectural colleagues), ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Construction Administration : Oversee construction documentation, support the bidding process, review shop drawings, and respond to RFIs during the construction phase.
- Quality Control : Ensure that all architectural deliverables meet company standards, local building codes, and client expectations for quality and accuracy.
- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate potential project risks, addressing issues proactively to avoid delays or budget overruns.
- Compliance and Permitting : Ensure that projects meet all applicable regulatory requirements, securing necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Mentorship : Provide leadership and mentorship to junior architects and design team members, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
