Our client in Austin is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and evaluate suppliers for direct and indirect materials; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Issue and manage purchase orders; streamline procurement and requisition processes
- Reconcile receipts with invoices and resolve any discrepancies quickly
- Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures
- Analyze procurement data to support cost-reduction efforts and drive savings initiatives
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure clear, consistent communication
- Support procurement-related projects from planning through execution
- Provide flexible support across various procurement functions in a high-growth environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally in electronics or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of procurement concepts, including vendor negotiation, contracts, and cost analysis
- Experience using ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with PLM tools and engineering change processes
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel with the ability to present clear, data-backed insights
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with component library management software
