Position Overview:
We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead and manage a team of buyers. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and develop a team of 3 buyers.
- Oversee procurement of parts and materials to support production schedules.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contract conditions.
- Optimize purchasing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like delivery timelines and cost reductions.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing management.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
