What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate and Securities Associate position at Becker?
The primary focus of this role will be the representation of our corporate and securities clients. The attorney will handle SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other required disclosures, while ensuring compliance with the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Securities Act of 1933, and related regulatory frameworks, such as SPAC regulations.
- Candidate must demonstrate strong legal skills on US corporate/commercial matters (primarily M&A/JVs involving US privately held companies and commercial contracts).
- Juris Doctor and New York bar admission; minimum of four years of experience in corporate and securities law, with a focus on public company representation.
- Proven ability to serve in corporate and securities matters. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Mother tongue Italian and working knowledge of other European languages a plus.
- Full-time in Milan office, but must be willing to travel between US and Italy and within Europe.
