Warehouse Manager

Summary

We’re seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient warehouse practices, maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead and supervise warehouse associates. Monitor performance and provide feedback to improve individual and team productivity.
  
  

Warehouse Practices & Protocols

• Establish and enforce best practices and protocols to ensure a safe warehouse environment.
  
  

Goal Setting & Collaboration

• Work closely with executive management and other team leaders to set and align warehouse and team goals.
  
  

Training and Development

• Identify training needs and lead initiatives to improve employee skills, focusing on efficiency, safety, and quality standards. Provide new employee training on warehouse equipment and protocols.
  
  

Shipping & Delivery Oversight

• Ensure that products are shipped cost-effectively and on time, meeting scheduled turn-around times (TAT). Oversee the preparation of orders, ensuring they are pulled and loaded correctly into delivery vehicles with all necessary shipping documents for both domestic and international shipments.
  
  

Customer Service

• Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, or issues related to warehouse operations, including delivery delays or damaged goods, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  
  

Inventory Management

• Ensure warehouse and shipping supplies are stocked and inventory is accurate. Lead the annual physical inventory process.
  
  

Cross-department Coordination

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure inbound and outbound deadlines are met.
  
  

Work Procedures and Problem Resolution

• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet departmental schedules and resolve work-related issues. Assist employees in problem-solving when necessary.
  
  

Equipment Maintenance

• Report any machinery or equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel for quick resolution and ensure equipment is well-maintained.
  
  

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to and enforce all safety procedures and regulations in warehouse operations to ensure a safe working environment.
  
  

Import-Export Coordination

• Possess knowledge of the import-export process and assist in preparing cargo documentation to facilitate smooth border crossings for international shipments.
  
  

Special Projects

• Participate in or lead special projects as assigned by management to improve warehouse operations and efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 5 years of warehouse operations experience.
• Proficient in using multiple shipping software applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data, create reports, and optimize workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple workflows, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
