Job Description
The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for safely transporting patients from various locations to the hospital campus and other designated areas. This role requires maintaining accurate mileage records, submitting gas receipts, and ensuring the vehicle's cleanliness and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients to and from the hospital campus and other locations
- Maintain daily logs of mileage and gasoline usage
- Submit gas receipts to the appropriate personnel
- Clean and maintain the interior of the vehicle regularly
- Ensure patient safety and supervise them during transportation
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:
- A high school degree or equivalent
- A valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
- Minimum two years of professional driving experience
- At least one year of customer service experience
- One year of experience driving 8-12 passenger vans professionally
