In this role, it is a front of office position where you will be responsible for managing in-house appointments for order pickups and drop-offs, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage in-house appointments for order pickups and drop-offs using appointment management software.
- Track appointment data and generate reports through Beckett’s appointment management tools.
- Process and invoice incoming and picked-up orders within Beckett’s order management platform.
- Provide customers with guidance on Beckett’s order processes and procedures as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks, including organizing and packaging orders for upcoming appointments, restocking supplies, and handling other general duties as required.
- Welcome vendors and remote workers, notifying the appropriate staff of their arrival.
- Close the reception area at the end of business hours.
- Assist with other related clerical duties, administrative projects, and even operational ad hoc projects.
- Hours of role are Monday to Friday, either 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills, provide a friendly, welcoming experience for both in-person guests and customers online
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and the ability to learn new tools quickly
- Ability to handle confidential issues with the utmost discretion
- A proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and customer service.
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and effective manner with people at all levels (internally and externally)
- Ability to succeed in a self-guided environment and seamlessly multitask to meet deadlines.
- Trading card and comic knowledge a plus but not required
- Sales experience a plus but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Manually lift and carry up to 40 pounds
