As a Production Operations Lead at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily production needs. This includes scheduling through the use of visual management, training direct labor associates, troubleshooting issues, and managing the work of direct labor associates.
This role is part of the Hardware Manufacturing Team located in Chaska, MN and will require on-site presence. As a leader in this team, you will have the opportunity to drive business growth and excellence by executing the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards.
The essential requirements of this job include a high school degree (or equivalent degree) with 7 years of experience. You must also be able to train to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and follow engineering drawings, work order information, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while maintaining FDA requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth and excellence by executing the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards.
- Ensure successful shift performance through tracking, reporting and feedback on associate performance.
- Support the Supervisor and employees; Provide vacation coverage for Supervisors and provide policy follow up, attendance tracking.
Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO regulatory experience.
- Experience with DBS, Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $25.00 - $27.00.
