As a Process Engineering Manager, you will lead the Reagent Operations Process Engineering team of engineers and line support technicians in Chaska, MN. The site manufactures highly technical consumables essential to our operations.
You will be responsible for multiple filling lines, driving continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance, maximize output, and reduce downtime.
The position requires strong leadership skills, with experience in process optimization, team management, project execution, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biomechanical Engineering) and 9 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Must understand process controls on highly automated equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to run site daily management meetings and set daily priorities
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to provide constructive performance coaching to individual contributors and supervisors.
