The Process Engineering Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading a team of engineers and line support technicians in Reagent Operations Process Engineering. This role involves multiple filling lines, continuous improvement projects, and equipment management.
This position is part of the Reagent Operations team in Chaska, MN, and will be an onsite role. As a Process Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for process optimization, team leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Biomechanical Engineering) and 9 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Must understand process controls on highly automated equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to run site daily management meetings and set daily priorities
- Continuous improvement mindset.
