We are currently seeking a Senior Buyer who will be responsible for various commodity suppliers that contribute to our overall spend for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences here in Loveland, Colorado. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Operations team and will be an on-site role.

The salary range for this role is (P2) $85,000 to $92,000 per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We are currently seeking a Senior Buyer who will be responsible for various commodity suppliers that contribute to our overall spend for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences here in Loveland, Colorado. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is part of the Operations team and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use
- Negotiating favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers
- Drive ongoing supplier optimization and continuous improvement and other duties as needed/required.
- A minimum of a Bachelors’ degree with 2 years of experience in a tactical or strategic procurement role, supporting manufacturing or project management, or a master’s degree with 3 years’ experience or Doctorate degree
- Demonstrates experience and results in negotiating with suppliers as well as success in keeping suppliers on time & accountable through regular communication with them and data analysis of late purchase orders from suppliers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new programs that are job specific. Experience with Oracle is preferred, but having experience with ERP systems is a must.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 45lb on rare occasion.
- The primary work environment is at a desk, but standing, walking, bending, and/or crouching may be required from time to time.
- Both finished goods and manufacturing planning for instrument/accessory type products.
- Kanban inventory management systems as well as MIN/MAX inventory management systems.
