The Distribution Supervisor for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and development of their team of associates for fast-paced daily distribution operations. This position analyzes and implements distribution strategies to support customer expectations, including on-time delivery, quality, productivity, and various other key performance indicators for the functional areas.
This supervisor develops, leads, and implements process improvement projects; and practices Lean and Six Sigma principles to achieve established goals and objectives. The analytical problem-solving methodology will also drive productivity, quality, and efficiency.
This position is an integral part of the distribution facility and reports to the value stream manager. It is located in Hebron, KY.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, quality, and customer satisfaction in a Lean environment.
- Supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
- Coordinating with other Supervisors to build and execute productivity plans by reviewing work volume forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering to balance labor across the facility.
- Cultivate and champion a team that utilizes Lean principles & methods to increase productivity & eliminate waste.
- Communicate policies to associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency and taking corrective action when required
- Perform root cause analysis using the problem-solving process and 5 Why's to develop a logical solution
- Provide performance feedback and development opportunities to team
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Possess a bachelor's degree with 5 years (Highly Preferred), or high school diploma with 8 years experience
- Experience directing a team of 15-35 associates
- Intermediate to Expert skills with Microsoft Office applications
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience:
- With a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably Oracle
- Knowledge and experience in ISO, Federal Agency compliance regulations
- Lean/Six Sigma in a Continuous Improvement Environment.
