The Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing support and solving problems in the manufacturing process, from assembly to final packaging, across multiple instrument value streams. This role emphasizes driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. Additionally, the Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be accountable for leading efforts in new product transfer and implementing design changes to meet business objectives. You will work cross-functionally to drive business results, DBS culture, and executing on strategic plans to achieve long term objectives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manage project teams and associated work requirements. Provide timely project updates and feedback while ensuring project milestones are met.
Use engineering and scientific principles to drive to root cause and implement countermeasures for issues discovered throughout the manufacturing process.
Work cross-functionally to achieve department objectives and priorities while also improving Hardware Operations KPI results.
Foster innovation by using DBS tools at Gemba to drive improvement in safety, quality, delivery, financial, and customer satisfaction.
Ensure full compliance and enforcement of all EHS, GMP, Regulatory, and Product Quality in accordance with company policies and government regulatory requirements/laws.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of experience, OR Master's degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience, OR Doctoral degree
Demonstrated experience in leveraging and applying technical expertise to solve complex problems in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Experience identifying and implementing process improvements within the manufacturing line.
Experience in cross-functional project management
Proficiency in statistical data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE)
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel approximately 40%+ in near term, varying depending on project work and scope needed
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
3+ years’ experience working on cross-functional projects across multiple sites
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen
Salary : $98,000 - $125,000
