IT / Graphic Designer

Becknell Wholesale Company, a national leader and distributor of quality farming goods and industrial products, seeks a full-time Catalog Designer/Production Artist with outstanding design skills to join our in-house Creative team at our corporate office located in Lubbock, Texas. This position is responsible for creating and production art and arranging layout of the company’s catalog(s) utilizing ADOBE Suite design software (on MAC OS). Other responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to:

• Photography
• Digital Image Manipulation (Photoshop)
• Website Maintenance (HTML, Javascript)
• Publishing/Printing (InDesign, Acrobat)

The ideal candidate should possess the ability to interface well with all departments and demonstrate the ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines. This candidate will work well independently and utilize discretion regarding confidential and sensitive company material or information. You will report to an immediate department supervisor. A detail oriented, highly organized individual will definitely stand out!

Interested candidates must possess 1-2 years of work experience in Graphic Design, Catalog or Pre-Press Production or a 2–4-year College Degree in Graphic Design. Pay rate based upon experience. A high proficiency in software applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) as well as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is a must.
