Beckstrom Electric is seeking for a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team!
As one of our Fire Alarm Service Technicians, you’ll be responsible for testing, inspecting, repairing and troubleshooting fire alarm systems. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring quality work and providing top customer service, while helping us develop a culture that is friendly, productive and promotes teamwork.
What we’re looking for…
Industry Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience performing inspections, installations or maintenance of fire alarm, security or other similar systems.
- An understanding of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installation of fire alarm systems and/or familiarity with building codes.
- A NICET Certification is a benefit but not required.
Other Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Be comfortable working in different environments as our technicians work indoors and outdoors.
- Show a commitment to quality work.
- A sense of responsibility for safety and the protection of life and property.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members to meet goals.
