In this role, you will work with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing instruction to meet their unique needs. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure that each student receives the best possible education.
Key Qualifications:
• Valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in teacher of the hearing impaired
• License from CAID (Conference on American Instructors of the Deaf)
• Competency in administering and interpreting tests for hearing-impaired students
• Working knowledge of group application systems and skill in manual communication
