What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp EMT position at Bedford Recreation & Parks?
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a camp setting. They will oversee the camp medical portion of the camp.
Responsibilities would include but are not limited to -
-Being responsible for reviewing all campers records and keeping a note of all allergies at the various camps.
- Making sure each camp has the proper first aid supplies and monitor replacement
- Make sure all campers medication for the camp are secure and at camp.
- Visit all camps daily and do a check in - Must provide their own transportation - miles will be paid back at NYS requirements
- Maintaining the Department of Health standard for first aid
- Helping when needed if injuries were to occur- calling parent, DOH paperwork,...
DAYS of WEEK - Monday - Friday
DATES - June 30 - August 8 (required)
Times 9:00 - 3:00 (can vary form time to time.)
Must be FINISHED freshman year of college to apply.
Must be certified EMT
Must have proper CPR /AED requirements for DOH
