Maintenance Director

Job Summary:

Indigo Manor is looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to manage the maintenance operations of our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead all maintenance staff and activities within the facility.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the facility remains in excellent condition.
• Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Oversee repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance initiatives.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and correct usage.
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related issues and enhance resident satisfaction.
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
  
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in facility maintenance management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
