Bee Access is seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Manager to join our team. WHAT THE ROLE DOES:
- Plant Operations: Primary responsibility for overall plant management including production (CNC, plasma cutter, welding, assembly), planning, personnel oversight (25 employees) and quality control.
- Resource Planning: Ensure the company has the capacity, proper inventory levels and lead times to deliver products on time and in full per the forecasts and trends. Gather data, develop reports and build a structure to support the improvement of the company.
- Process Improvement: Lead cross-functional initiatives to deliver lean and related operational improvements; develop and utilize our software to track, communicate and improve key metrics.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the production, warehousing and shipping teams, and support workforce development through training and encouraging individual growth.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication between departments and leadership team members. Maintain clear reporting on plant performance, production metrics, and any issues affecting operations.
- Subcontractor Management: Assist in outsourced production and development of manufacturing partners.
- Facilities Support: Assist in maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure and assets to support growth.
- Safety: Ensure all safety requirements and protocols are being met.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- 7 years of experience in manufacturing and plant operations, preferably in a higher growth, well-managed company.
- Strong knowledge of welding, advanced manufacturing and utilization of software to manage and improve operations. Experience with outsourced manufacturers a plus.
- Proven leadership, people management skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Highly ethical, positive culture addition, self-motivated.
- Able to commute or relocate to the West Palm Beach, FL area.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
