We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our clients aggregates facility. The Plant Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the plant's operations, including production, maintenance, safety, quality control, and personnel. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aggregate production, leadership skills, and a strong focus on operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production processes.
- Enforce a culture of safety, ensuring that all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of plant operators, maintenance staff, and supervisors.
- Provide direction and support to the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee the maintenance of plant equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruptions.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to plant performance, production efficiency, and operational costs.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant resources and reduce operational costs.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the aggregates, mining, or heavy industrial sector.
- In-depth knowledge of aggregate production processes, equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in environmental and safety areas (e.g., MSHA, OSHA).
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
