What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Technician position at Bee Talent Solutions?
Our client is seeking a Fab Operator to join their team. As a Fab Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of electronic components to a given schedule using a range of equipment and processes in a cleanroom environment.
This position is shift-based with multiple positions across 1st or 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.
1st Shift hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. 2nd shift hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Preferable).
Responsibilities:
- Processing of material to the required quality standards and standard operating procedures.
- Preparation of materials and tooling to applied standards.
- Undertake periodic quality checks on equipment and processes, as specified.
- Gathering and recording of data.
- Carry out a visual inspection of the product according to the device-specific criteria.
- Identify non-compliant material or abnormal events, taking appropriate action as detailed in applied specifications.
- Contribute to improvement activities and participate in working groups.
- Achieve production targets by undertaking tasks according to specified plans and priorities using local decision-making to account for material and equipment availability.
- Interface with maintenance and engineering staff regularly throughout a shift.
- Comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations within the working environment.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing the necessary cleanroom attire.
- Ability to work strictly to quality standards and specifications.
- Excellent manual dexterity, working with small parts.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills, including Google Docs and Google Sheets, and standard data entry systems.
- Able to work occasional overtime, as needed.
