Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Loveland Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Englewood, Colorado facility.

As a Capture/Proposal Manager, you will support business development initiatives in the aerospace and defense sector, blending strategic capture management, proposal leadership, and data-driven analysis to create innovative, winning solutions for Beehive Industries Propulsion Systems. Reporting to the VP of Business Development, you’ll ensure our proposals align with customer needs, federal requirements, and competitive strategies.

Mission Objectives

  • Capture and Proposal Leadership
    • Manage the proposal lifecycle, from receipt, planning, and execution to post-submission analysis.
    • Support the develop and implement capture strategies and aligned with customer needs and competitive positioning.
    • Interpret solicitation requirements to ensure compliant, compelling proposals.
    • Lead post-submission reviews to analyze outcomes and refine future strategies.
  • Content Development and Proposal Management
    • Author or oversee proposal sections (e.g., SOW, Cost, Technical, Manufacturing).
    • Facilitate proposal meetings, including kick-offs, brainstorming, and team reviews.
    • Ensure strategic messaging, technical solutions, and win themes are integrated throughout proposals.
    • Oversee production, quality control, and timely submission of proposals.
  • Support other business development efforts are required that may include:
    • Strategic Analysis and Competitive Intelligence
    • Market research and analyze client requirements, competitor landscapes, and legislative drivers.
    • Use data-driven insights to develop price-to-win models and predictive analytics for proposal strategies.
Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated success leading proposal effort for significant government or commercial contracts
  • Strong understanding of Federal procurement processes, including FAR/DFARS compliance.
  • Expertise in aerospace, defense, and adjacent industries, including engineering and technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, government budgeting, and advanced technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Top Secret/SCI eligible
  • Knowledge of Proposal Management and capture activities
  • 10 years of business development/capture/proposal management
