The Maintenance and Parts Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our fleet and equipment. This position is responsible for proactive resource management, including the scheduling and supervision of preventative maintenance, repairs, charging, and cleaning activities. The Maintenance and Parts Supervisor oversees all maintenance functions and ensures that work meets our customer, client and manufacturer standards.
This role will ensure Beep's fleet of Autonomous Vehicles are in good, working order to both maximize service uptime and provide safe, reliable service to our customers.
This is a full-time position based in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities :
Preventative Maintenance Scheduling and Supervision : Develop and manage a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and ensure all fleet vehicles and equipment are in optimal condition.
Repair Supervision : Oversee all repair activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues to maintain fleet reliability.
Oversight of Charging / Cleaning Activities : Supervise daily vehicle charging and cleaning operations to maintain a well-maintained and presentable fleet. Provides structure and guidance for Team Members in accordance with company policies.
Fleet and Maintenance Equipment Management : Take responsibility for the overall condition of the fleet and maintenance equipment, ensuring they are safe, well-maintained, and clean. Participate in Beep's change management and incident management procedures and preparation of planned and unplanned maintenance.
Standards Compliance : Ensure all maintenance work adheres to proper standards.
Warranty Repairs Coordination : Schedule and coordinate warranty repairs with dealerships, ensuring all necessary repairs are handled efficiently.
Parts Procurement and Inventory Management : Identify and project necessary parts for maintenance and repair tasks, manage the ordering of parts, and maintain accurate inventory records. Work closely with the manufacturer to procure and maintain spare parts and associated inventory.
Vendor Coordination : Work with vendors to address any supply chain issues that may impact service operations and ensure timely procurement of parts and supplies. Manage aftermarket modifications to Beep's autonomous vehicles.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in automotive related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience working in the automotive or aviation industry with a focus on fleet maintenance; autonomous fleet maintenance experience preferred
- ASE certifications (A Series, H Series, and L3 preferred)
- Strong experience working with electrical systems
- Must be able to pass a background check and Federal drug screen
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to work with proprietary software to diagnose issues with and calibrate vehicle components
- Ability to identify issues and make recommendations to improve existing processes
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
