General Statement of Job: Responsible for execution of scheduled & unscheduled maintenance activities on-time and in a safe manner. Responsible for compliance with all safety & environmental guidelines set by the company and appropriate agencies. Capable of identifying deficiencies in maintenance-related processes as well as defining the subsequent corrective actions. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in the day-to-day management of maintenance employees and achieving key KPI metrics by growing & utilizing their direct reports, problem-solving, and communicating with upper management.

Essential Duties:

· Go & See mentality – discover what and where the problems are as & before they happen. This position will spend a supermajority of the time in the field with some hours of office work per week. This position is expected to work alongside maintenance employees making effective repairs and problem-solving challenging mechanical, electrical, and/or pneumatic issues.

· Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing and training personnel on expectations in terms of effective repairs, timeliness of repairs, housekeeping, and workmanship.

· Demonstrated ability in leading investigations into equipment failures.

· Ensure employees have the tools, parts, and training needed to succeed in their job duties.

· Attend and participate in various meetings including but not limited to safety, process, maintenance, and engineering.

· Familiarity with maintenance philosophy & principles and how to effectively use CMMS. This role requires someone competent at typing and using a computer.

· Good communication up & down; with management & all employees

· Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face, phone, text, or e-mail.

· Ability to learn the HMI, analyze trends gathered from plant equipment.

· Able to learn and locate all equipment within the plant and general facility.

· Ability to use shovels, sledgehammers, hoists, etc. and safely lift up to 45-50 pounds.

· Competent with the safe operation of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment

Schedule:

· Monday through Friday with on call rotation
