Job Summary: The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource department; including recruiting and organizing the compliance of employees’ documents for onboarding.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
Assists in recruiting and supports the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with the HR Hiring & Onboarding Manager to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft or related software.
Exposure to hiring platforms such as Indeed, Zip Recruiter, etc.
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate's degree or higher in related field preferred
At least one year of human resource experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
10-15 hours a week
Salary : $15 - $17
