What You'll Do
The HR Generalist plays a vital role in supporting our team and driving organizational success. This position provides comprehensive HR and people operations support across multiple functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, policy implementation, payroll management, training and development, leave administration, performance management, and offboarding. By ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes, the HR Generalist helps foster a positive employee experience and contributes to a strong, people-first workplace culture.
Here is what you can expect.
- HR Support & Employee Experience: Provide proactive, solution-oriented HR assistance to foster a positive workplace.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee onboarding, benefits, employment changes, leave, performance tracking, compensation, and offboarding.
- Data Accuracy & Compliance: Maintain HR systems, audit records, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Policy & Program Implementation: Assist in developing and refining HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits, payroll updates, COBRA, and compliance requirements (401(k) rollovers, distributions, loans, etc.).
- Leave Management: Track and administer employee leave per company policies and legal requirements.
- Training & Compliance: Monitor required training, compliance courses, and professional certifications.
- New Hire Training & Engagement: Conduct new hire training and support onboarding for a smooth transition.
- Employment Verifications & Legal Requests: Handle verification inquiries and assist with federal/state data requests.
- HR Records & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports as needed.
- Audits & Compliance: Conduct routine and ad hoc audits to ensure policy and legal compliance.
- Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries, provide HR guidance, and support job satisfaction.
- Special Projects: Assist with additional HR initiatives and operational projects as needed.
What We'd Like You To Have
- Expertise: Strong understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- People-Centered Approach: Builds trust and rapport with employees by fostering a welcoming, supportive, and engaging work environment.
- Collaboration: Works effectively across teams and departments to drive HR initiatives and organizational success.
- Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to break down complex processes and policies into clear, understandable terms. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to identify solutions proactively.
- Organization & Adaptability: Highly organized with strong time management skills. Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while adapting to shifting priorities.
- Technology & Systems: Quick learner with the ability to navigate and implement new HR technologies. Experience with Rippling and Ultimate Kronos Group is preferred.

- Compensation: The starting rate for this position is $75,000 per year. Employees are eligible for annual merit increase based based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
