We are a leading provider of psychiatric and psycho-social services in long-term care, supporting over 600 facilities across the Mid-West. We have an immediate opening for a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a specialization in geriatric psychiatry.
Job Overview

As a part-time specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating geriatric patients at various rehabilitation facilities, assisted living, and nursing homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of geriatric patients.
- Prescribe or adjust psychotropic medications as needed.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure continuity of care.
- Stay up-to-date on Medicare standards and documentation requirements.
Requirements:
- Credentials: PA or NP degree from an accredited University, valid license, and DEA certification.
- Experience: 1 year experience providing mental health services to the geriatric population (preferred).
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of mental health care delivery, and ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
