What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at Behavioral Medicine Associates, Inc?
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide basic information to callers
- Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant preferred
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of office management procedures
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Experience working in a medical office is a plus
This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively. They should also have a professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
