General Description: At BeiGene we are continuing to expand and grow our HR team, to support this growth and the increasing complexity as we expand globally, we are looking for an experienced Chief of Staff to support the Global Head of HR and the HR Leadership Team (HRLT). The role will encompass many different aspects for HR from working with senior HR professionals in all of the key functions (Talent Management, Talent Development, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners and HR Operations) to project management of core processes and programs central to the smooth running of the HR function as a whole. Working closely with the Global Head of HR the role requires tact, diplomacy & confidentiality – coupled with strong self-motivation and initiative . Essential Functions of the job: Build and lead the daily operations of the Head of HR’s office Support the HRLT to ensure cross-functional collaboration within HR and facilitate excellent communication, manage special projects, and ensure action items are executed on behalf of the Head of HR . Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects as directed by the Head of HR and the HRLT. Acts as an extension of the Head of HR, an information source, filter, and facilitator with both internal and external stakeholders Assess all inquiries directed to the Head of HR, determine priority and the proper course of action Act as the point of contact for the Head of HR’s direct reports. Triage all incoming requests for time and ensure calendar alignment with the priorities of the function and the wider organization Serve as a thought partner and strategic advisor to Head of HR and HRLT, attending meetings, following up on action items with the team accordingly Provide analysis and options to the Head of HR to speed up responses and actions Proactively follow up with the HRLT to ensure the functions goals are being achieved and where issues exist to determine the root causes of any issues. Serve as liaison between HR Team members and the senior leaders, provide project updates, develop proposals, and ensure strong planning and implementation Track high priority initiatives for the Head of HR to identify any/potential obstacles Drive excellent team integration as well as cross-functional communication and collaboration Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 10 years’ experience assisting high level leaders; multiple disciplines a plus Extensive experience in efficiently multi-tasking between business partners and priorities Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments Excellent communicator in written and verbal form Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives Experience with data analysis Focus on operations management Proven success in a project coordination role Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication Supervisory Responsibilities: None Direct Education Required: A Bachelor’s or above degree in Management or related field / Equivalent Experience Computer Skills: MS word, ME excel, MS PPT High level skills Workday, Boardvantage experience an advantage Travel: Minimal Competencies: Ethics - Treats people with respect; Inspires the trust of others; Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values. Salary Range: $154,100.00 - $214,100.00 annually BeiGene is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
