What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Beisser Lumber Company?
Beisser Lumber is currently seeking a full-time outside salesperson for its Coralville location for sales and service of our company's wide range of building material products to new and existing customers; be it contractors or do-it-yourselfers.
Sales responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*cover assigned accounts promoting products and services.
*initiate and follow up with customers to sell and resolve problems, answer questions, correspondence, and reports.
*prepare and present proposals, quotes, and recommend products based upon customer needs and sales of appropriate products.
*other sales duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate will:
*have a GED with 3 years of related sales experience involving building materials, or equivalent.
*effectively communicate, present, and follow written and verbal instructions and/or information with good time management and organizational skills to prioritize work.
*calculate figures and amounts according to job specifications.
