Finance Manager
Main Job Objective - Mission:

The Finance Manager will lead the day-to-day management of the Finance team to obtain efficient and effective financial management and controls. The Finance Manager will work cross functionally to provide business insight and financial leadership to help drive strategic and financial initiatives.

BekaertDeslee USA (BDUS) is a production and distribution center for mattress fabrics and covers operations in US with a revenue of approximately 140 million USD.
Main Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Finance team, including AP, AR, payroll, inventory control, cash control. and fixed asset management.
- Organize and manage monthly closing activities with the team, including journal entries (recurring, ad hoc and accrual), performing account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliation, and financial controls/checks.
- Prepare, analyze, and reconcile all financial statements and related reports including balance sheet, income statement, and cash-flow report.
- Track KPIs, perform variance analysis and prepare management reports and presentations.
- Work cross-functionally to provide business insights and financial leadership to help drive strategic and financial initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
- Coordinate the yearly external audit.
- Streamline and optimize financial processes & controls.
- Coordinate and support on taxes with external firm.
- Participate in our financial strategic planning, yearly budget and forecast.

Professional qualifications and knowledge:
- 7 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting - ideally in a multinational and production-oriented environment.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Experience working with an ERP system (preferably SAP).
- Possession of data skills, analytics & data visualization.
Other requirements or special comments:
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally to include but not limited Mexico, US & Europe (Global Finance Meeting)
