What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Therapist - Early Childhood Autism Summer Program position at BEL Center?
The BEL Center is seeking compassionate individuals to work in our ABA centered early childhood Autism summer program. This is a summer position but could extend into a full year contract for the right candidate.
The BEL Center is an organization which provides behavioral support services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children and families in Southern Vermont. Join our collaborative team to support young children in learning facilitated peer play, functional communication, attending and participation, individualized pre-academic skills development, self-care, emotional regulation, and social skills. This program is housed in our beautiful center in Bratteboro, VT.
A love of working with young children and a desire to help them reach their potential a must.
Competitive hourly rate and a school schedule.
Skills/Requirements:
•No experience with ABA required but a willingness to learn is essential. Prior experience working with children is necessary.
•Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
•Clean background check
Ongoing training in ABA is provided to all employees, and opportunities for advancement are available. Applicants currently pursuing coursework related to ABA or BCBA certification strongly encouraged to apply. Supervision towards certification is available with employment.
