Job Summary :
As a material handler, you will be responsible for the timely movement of all materials within your designated location and tracking the movement within the computerized systems to ensure proper tracking and inventory.
Job Duties :
- Operate a forklift to move raw materials, packaging, finished product and other materials from one location to another.
- Use a computer and company systems to track all material movement transactions, both incoming and outgoing.
- Observe all GMP, Food Safety, and Employee Safety requirements.
- Load 53 foot trailers with a lift truck
- Shipping and receiving of products and materials
- Log incoming material and outgoing pallets into computer system
- Recognize shortages of materials in the system and order materials for next shift
- Follow detailed processes for assigned work to ensure proper completion.
