Job Title:
Utilities and Earthwork Field Superintendents, CO Branch reporting to General Field Superintendent
Position Expectation:
Attain assigned projects' job cost as bid or under budget.
Description of Duties / Responsibilities for Nationally Procured Work Managed from CO Branch:
Major duties include the strict adherence to Belair's safety policy/program; the development and maintenance of client, subcontractor and vendor relationships at our project sites; providing alternate methods to increase field productions and efficiencies as budgeted in job cost; full and efficient utilization of personnel and equipment resources to include proactive maintenance; analyzing historical job production data utilizing Heavy Job software; evaluation of long-term labor and equipment resource requirements for the projects and how they affect the "Big Picture" needs of the CO Branch; control, direct, and manage field personnel and resources; push decision making to the lowest possible level.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Ability to build and retain a strong customer base; Team oriented drive in procuring the work and promoting cross functionality across business units and branch offices; Courageously aggressive in taking calculated risk; The ability to equitably balance personal and business time management; Capacity to hold personnel accountable for construction methods and productions.
Willingness and tenacity to manage field operations for project leads located nationally to include travel as required.
8 years or more of work experience in site work or related construction industry.
Computer competent in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
Maintain established professional contacts with vendors, suppliers, and General Contractors.
