JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Will work within the Failure Analysis & Met Lab groups and contribute to the immediate AMT Decatur team as well as internal & external process partners.
* Part or project identification
* Responsible for test plan development and nondestructive evaluation.
* Responsible for destructive evaluation & testing.
* Responsible for documentation, communication, material management and print interpretation.
* Work with laboratory, internal quality engineers, external suppliers & customer.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical or Materials Science Engineering
* 3 years of previous experience highly desired
* Experience with Fractography ,Microscopy, Metallography, Non Destructive Evaluation
* Mechanical Testing and Hardness Testing experience
* SEM / EDS knowledge
* Strong Decision Making & Critical Thinking
* Effective Communication
* Microsoft Office knowledge
