Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer with a strong background in aerospace parts programming, particularly in composite ply shape modifications and nesting creation for composite hardware. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and modify composite ply layouts, ensuring accurate production and quality control.
Key Responsibilities :
- Modify and create composite ply shapes and nesting layouts using specialized software for composite hardware.
- Utilize CutWorks and Sigmanest software to efficiently nest plies based on product definitions.
- Work closely with product owners, manufacturing engineers, design engineers, and technicians to troubleshoot and inspect ply nestings and related equipment.
- Support composite manufacturing processes by ensuring accurate ply shape modifications and equipment settings.
