Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Grand Rapids, MI USA 49512
Duration: 06 Months Contract (Potential Temp to Perm)
Pay Rate: $21/hr.
Shift Time: 1st Shift M-F (8am-4:30pm)
Job Description:
Inspection support for both Receiving and Final inspection, including month end shipments as needed. Inspects product by means of manual layout, caliper and micrometer checks, plug and pin gage inspection, etc. with proficiency. Performs tasks using Windows based software such as Excel and Word. Evaluates product compliancy through proper understanding of blueprints and GD&T.
In this function you will:
- Provide inspection support for both Receiving and Final Inspection.
- Inspect product per blueprint requirements in accordance with the current quality procedures.
- Evaluate product compliancy through a thorough understanding of industry specifications, blueprint reading and GD&T.
- Prepare and completes First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102 requirements.
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Must have two years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent from an Accredited Institution.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience evaluates product compliancy through a thorough understanding of industry specifications, blueprint reading and GD&T.
- Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection.
