What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Coordinator position at BELCORP - BELFOR Corporate?
The Account Coordinator acts as a liaison between internal team members, account managers, outside agencies, clients, third party administrators and end customers. They will also use database reports and other system technology as part of their daily job responsibilities.
Location:
In Office – Birmingham, MI
Shift:
Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees throughout the BELFOR organization
- Become proficient on applications associated with the assigned account and provide support to BELFOR field personnel on these applications
- Provide coaching to the BELFOR field offices virtually or via phone sessions
- Assist with department goals and support
- Limited in-state travel: Account conferences, field meetings, client meetings and account trainings, if any are applicable
- Provide assistance for the BELFOR field offices on completing electronic communication via the client and BELFOR specific applications
- Provide assistance for the BELFOR field offices on maintaining their electronic job files
- Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
- Understanding of any customer associated fees
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
- Attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property and information
- Attend BELFOR sponsored operations and safety training courses, as required
- Monthly reporting via our Job Management system
Qualifications:
- Strong follow up skills; ability to organize applicable job timelines and follow up with internal and external contacts as needed
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- 2-3 years of computer program/application experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong written and oral communication skills; including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced environment
- Self-motivated; ability to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to client requests as well as collaborating with others to utilize resources and knowledge in identifying high quality solutions
Physical Demands:
- Sitting for extended periods of time monitoring multiple computer screens for activity
- Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks
