Belden Tri-State Building Materials is the leading supplier of Brick and other related masonry products in NY, NJ & greater Philadelphia area.
Job Description:
· This position, working out of our Manhattan corporate headquarters, will serve as the sales assistant for one of our top NYC sales reps. Our sales force calls on Architects, Masonry contractors, building owners and construction project managers who specify and purchase the masonry products we distribute.
Job Responsibilities:
· Basic responsibilities will include browsing daily construction reports and learning to identify new opportunities.
· Calling on potential opportunities to qualify leads and set appointments.
· Multiple projects will be worked simultaneously. Completing job registration forms for each project worked. Keeping organized records with all of the different products we sell.
· The ability to multi-task and follow up is essential.
· Executing and following up on sample requests with our manufacturers all over the country and overseas.
· Following up on pricing requests with our internal estimating department, to ensure that bids are available for distribution to appropriate bidders lists.
· Experience in the brick or construction industry is a plus.
Benefits:
· Anticipated salary is expected to approximate $65,000 - $68,000 plus benefits.
