What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor / Lifeguard position at Belen Summer Camp?
QUALIFICATIONS :
- At least 16 years of age.
- High School Diploma or currently in school.
- Current certifications in CPR / First Aid. Lifeguard certification preferred.
- Swimming background desired.
- Work experience in a structured environment desired
JOB GOAL :
Acts in a support role to the Aquatics Director planning, organizing, and implementing in all aquatic activities to a variety of groups on a daily basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS :
REPORTS TO :
The Swim Instructor / Lifeguard reports directly to the Aquatics Director, Camp Director and Assistant Camp Director(s).
EVALUATION :
The Aquatic Director will evaluate the Swim Instructor / Lifeguard weekly. The evaluation will be based on successfully completing the responsibilities listed above.
