- Work shifts as Lifeguard/Swim Instructor and follow the expectations of both positions
- Enforce Safety & Supervision: Monitor swimmers, enforce safety, identify hazards, and act promptly in emergencies.
- Identify & Evaluate: Teach and assess students in swim lessons, ensuring a structured, engaging, and safe learning environment.
- Lead with Professionalism: Start and end classes on time, address participant and counselor questions, and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Maintain Detail & Readiness: Submit reports, skill sheets, and attendance data on time while keeping supplies and facilities clean.
- Respond to Emergencies: Provide first aid and emergency care until medical personnel arrive.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Works effectively in a team, attend mandatory meetings, and support a high standard of customer service.
- Ensure Facility Hygiene & Maintenance: Perform cleaning duties and conduct daily water chemical balance tests.

- Daily shifts - 9:00 AM-4:30 PM, with one 30-minute lunch break.
- Hours may be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
- Seasonal period starts on June 2nd & ends July 25th.
- Previous professional experience with an aquatics program
- Ability to relate to staff and members
- Must work well with varying age groups of children
