Job Description
Belger seeks a Project Manager who is responsible for cultivating new clients, evaluating client needs, preparing project estimates and scope, and coordinate project development with operations team to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope. This is a sales position.
Essential Functions
- Successfully seek out and establish new client relationships and manage relationships with existing clients
- Meet with clients to evaluate needs and assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop and present project proposals and defined scopes with clients
- Schedule projects while ensuring resource availability and allocation, including the coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
- Develop solutions to ensure project safety and efficiency
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation through the successful close out of project
- Monitor and maintain established sales and gross margin goals
- Accurate reporting of all sales activities, client contact, project presentations and current projects in progress
- Other duties and responsibilities as designated
Qualifications – Required
- U.S. work authorization
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous experience in project management in the construction, crane, or manufacturing environment
- Good educational/practical background, preferably in the sales and/or construction environment
- Self-starter who applies individual initiative to get the job done
- Enjoy working as a team member as well as independently
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Qualifications – Preferred
- Construction management experience: 1 year
- Crane & Rigging planning or operations experience: 1 year
- Warehousing & Logistics experience: 1 year
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- On call
