Key Responsibilities

• Update and maintain terms of trade while ensuring compliance with global and local guidelines.
• Partner with regional offices to establish terms of trade.
• Collaborate with pricing and valuations teams on assumption setting.
• Support the Life Business strategy and risk management processes.
• Provide data-driven insights to influence strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Nearly qualified or fully qualified Actuary (TASSA/equivalent).
• 2 years working with assumptions and experience studies.
• Proficiency in actuarial/statistical programming (VBA, SQL Server, R, Python).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Familiarity with South African life insurance products and market dynamics.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and able to work with complex data.
