SUMMARY : A premier New York City real estate law firm with headquarters in midtown Manhattan is seeking a highly motivated and intelligent associate who is well versed in condo / coop real estate law. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience providing strategic legal advice to co-op and condominium board members on governance, operations, and regulatory compliance. The candidate should also be skilled in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting governing documents, negotiating and drafting leases and vendor contracts, and managing due diligence for both residential and commercial transactions. The person should have a desire to participate in marketing activities and be able to develop relationships with prospective and active clients.
