Job Description

Provide legal counsel to cooperative and condominium boards on :
Corporate governance
Elections, special meetings, and annual meetings
Vendor contracts, apartment renovations, and by-law amendments
Litigate cases in Civil and Supreme Courts, including :
Mortgage foreclosures
Condominium liens for unpaid common charges
Landlord-tenant court summary proceedings
Represent cooperative and condominium boards in enforcing rights and remedies.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Admission to the New York State Bar.

6 years of experience in cooperative and condominium law.

Strong knowledge of New York landlord-tenant law.

Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Proficient in legal research tools and software.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.
