Job Summary (General Responsibilities):
As a National Account Manager at Belkin, you will be responsible for driving revenue through direct end-user engagement with US Federal Government DoD Major Commands including Communications/Cybersecurity and Intelligence Groups on US Military Bases. Responsibilities include development of DoD sales engagement strategy and direct selling activities to DoD End Users for key Belkin product lines. This person is expected to drive their own opportunity pipeline, sales activity, to meet their personal sales target. Business Travel is required at least 50 % of time.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assisting in establishing an annual territory budget for Federal DoD End-User sales and management of goals throughout the Fiscal Year.
- Creating proposals, negotiating agreements, establish pricing and fostering technical issues to resolution for customers through the Belkin Sales Channel.
- Pursuing major prospective customers as well as expanding sales to existing accounts through new product offerings and competitive positioning.
- Managing and influencing cross-functionally within the organization, across other departments as needed, to support customers and resolve issues that may arise.
- Continually growing pipeline opportunities for our Cyber Security solutions and other Belkin International products and offerings.
- Analyzing industry market trends, competitive products, and pricing that may impact sales efforts.
- Reviewing major territory/account activities with assigned Account Manager(s)/National Account Manager(s) to increase/maintain maximum volume and product penetration through the Belkin Channel Sales organization.
- Assisting team in providing accurate forecasts, reducing returns, developing and maintaining an appropriate marketing plan, and managing overall profitability in the overall territory
- Review and analyze daily sales statistics.
- Accountable for adhering to the organization and department procedures and guidelines, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support ISO system.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Military Service required – Desktop Support/Communications and Computers/Cybersecurity/Military Intelligence experience is a plus.
- 3 years or more of sales experience with Federal end-users and channel partners
- Key knowledge of Intelligence, Defense, and Civilian Federal agencies
- Residing in the Washington DC area a plus
- Current or expired Secret and/or TS Security clearance within last 5 years desired
- Retired Military preferred or at least 8 years of military experience.
- Holds a Retired Military or Reserve Military ID Card a plus.

Range for this position:
$80,000 to $110,000
Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, compensation also includes a performance-based bonus, and in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
