Overview:
The Customer Sales Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and delivering reports &
visualizations that highlight product and customer successes and opportunities. Data sets and
other available information will come from Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customers.
Collaborating closely with the sales team, our ideal candidate can work on multiple projects
simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that fortifies our customer
relationships and improves our business processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to evaluating and reporting business performance in the
following areas: trade and promotional spending, customer profitability, pricing, product
assortment, product utilization and overall customer performance. We are searching for an
experienced analyst who can gather this important data and compile it into reports for our internal
stakeholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs analysis and recommends appropriate analytic, statistic, and data visualization
methods, resources, and tools for complex business goals and issues
- Create detailed business assessments, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for
our products, our sales team, and our customers.
- Manage competitive pricing and market analysis reporting
- Sales forecasting for customers, new and existing products
- Promotional budgeting & spend analysis
- Partner with Industrial sales team to identify excess material opportunities
- Financial modeling
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies, enhancing existing
functionalities
Education & Experience
- 5 years of experience in a sales, marketing, analytics, or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI,
Excel, PowerPoint) and JET reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Poultry, or protein experience a plus
