Key responsibilities of an Audi Warranty Coder:
Reviewing auto repair orders: Carefully examine auto repair orders submitted by service technicians to verify if the repairs qualify for warranty coverage based on manufacturer policies.- Coding claims: Assigning appropriate warranty codes to each auto repair based on the specific problem, part affected, and applicable manufacturer guidelines.
- Data entry: Inputting auto warranty claim details, including codes, into the dealership's warranty management system accurately and efficiently.
- Claim submission: Submitting completed auto warranty claims to the manufacturer electronically, ensuring all necessary information is included.
- Claim tracking: Monitoring the status of submitted auto claims, following up with the manufacturer on any pending or denied claims.
- Compliance checks: Ensuring adherence to auto manufacturer warranty policies and guidelines to avoid claim denials.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or coding errors that may arise during the claim process.
- Customer communication: Answering questions from service advisors or customers regarding warranty coverage.
