Job Summary:
This position is responsible for advanced loan operations functions, to include but not limited to, processing credit life and GAP insurance, default processing, credit bureau disputes, invoice processing, escrow processing, maintaining daily rates and various reports/reconciliations.
Primary Duties:
- Process credit life and disability claims and cancellations.
- Process new GAP insurance policies, cancellations, claims and perform monthly GAP remittance/reconciliation.
- Liaison with the special assets team for default loan processing.
- Process direct and indirect credit bureau disputes and credit bureau maintenance.
- Process incoming active-duty paperwork and maintenance in accordance with SCRA guidelines.
- Maintain rates on the Signature core system.
- Analyze and compile information for bank reporting.
- Perform research of assigned daily/monthly/quarterly reports and ensure required action is completed accurately.
- Invoice processing for loan related fees and reconcilement of fees collected.
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to research and resolve open items.
- Assist with escrow processing and non-escrow tax status review
- Research and provide audit information as directed by the loan business process manager.
- Create and maintain procedures for department functions.
- Provide courteous, prompt and accurate resolution to incoming phone calls and emails.
- Share knowledge by assisting and training loan operations team members as needed.
- Know by name and face as many customers and employees as possible, calling them by name as often as possible.

- Conduct activities consistent with established Bell Bank policies, procedures and systems, the Bell Bank Employee Conduct policies, the Bank Secrecy Act and all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

Job Skills Required:
- Loan operations or equivalent work-related experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, research and analytical skills and attention to detail essential.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to provide professional support and portray a positive image of the department and bank in all circumstances.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in using personal computers and related software programs including, but not limited to, Windows and Microsoft Office.
