We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft. This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.
Sr Operations Systems Specialist – Manufacturing Innovation
The Operations Systems Specialist reports directly to the Manager Integrated Factory Systems at Bell’s Manufacturing Technology Center (MTC). This position is responsible for serving as the Manufacturing Innovation team member overseeing and collaborating with Bell’s IT Factory Technology and Engineering’s Manufacturing Systems organizations on the implementation and maintenance of Bell’s operational technology infrastructure. This position also ensures that our operational technology aligns with the strategy of the MTC’s machine connectivity and data management objectives run efficiently and effectively. This position serves as the primary focal point for matters related to software implementation and integration for shop scheduling, NC execution, data management and asset strategic planning.

You’ll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule
80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)
120 hours Vacation time
12-13 paid holidays per year

What you’ll be doing as a Sr Operations Systems Specialist
- Be the primary POC for Manufacturing Innovation operations to oversee new software implementations and help establish processes and metrics related to data connectivity and flow through the Manufacturing Technology Center.
- Actively participates in the day-to-day data flow execution plans and collaborates with other Manufacturing Innovation team members to ensure process adherence to manufacturing plans.
- Collaborates with IT, Engineering Manufacturing Systems and Manufacturing Innovation Engineering on IIOT data and information flow from machines and processes to servers and how that translates to end user metrics and dashboards.
- Work with IT Infrastructures and Factory Technology organizations to ensure system changes don’t adversely impact operations at MTC.
- Experience working with hardware, software, and networking in a manufacturing environment (Manufacturing Execution).
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive execution.
- Excellent communication skills and working in a teaming environment.
- Experience in creative problem solving, influencing, project management, change management, and eliminating barriers at any organizational level.
- Windows system administration skills preferred.
- SAP enhancement/upgrades and other IT systems related material management systems experience preferred.
- Bell-related specific manufacturing shop floor system experience preferred.
- 10 years of Information Technology related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Technology or related field.
- Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
- Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
